    Who were these leaders? How did they get to Al-Daraa?

    The story of Abu Sayyaf is being told by the local people’s groups, based in different parts of northern Syria. Their accounts are closely backed by the local government, and the army, but in many respects their stories have been remarkably consistent.

    Abu Sayyaf is one of the l카지노argest armed groups in rebel-held Syria. In a country wracked by civil war since 2011, it now claims to be the largest armed group in Syria at its core, and to have an estimated 10,000 fighters on the ground, mostly in the north-eastern provinces.

    It has also taken some form of control of a number of other smaller groups, with its fighters, with the notable exception of the Syrian Islamic Front, having taken part in various offensives.

    But a number of local activists told me that the core of Abu Sayyaf, including senior members, were based in Al-Daraa. These reports are the same people who told me that most of al-Qaeda’s top leadership was based in the province at the heart of its ambitions in the country’s north.
